Describe your senior year in three words.
“Insane, challenging rewarding.”
Your favorite high school memory?
“An FBLA trip in junior year that led to me meeting one of my closest friends and gaining a sense of confidence to join other clubs. This trip really helped make me the social, outgoing person I am now.”
What extracurricular activities where you involved in?
“Basketball, lacrosse, FBLA, Key Club, FCA, National Honor Societies”
What are your plans for after high school?
“I’m going to Florida State for undergrad and then hopefully to law school for my Juris Doctorate!”
If you could have one song play every time you entered a room, which song would you choose?
“Definitely “Thunderstruck” by AC/DC”
If you had the opportunity to travel anywhere, where would you go and why?
“I would go to see the Bolivian Salt Flats, because it’s the coolest natural landscape I’ve ever heard of.”
What are three things you must do in your lifetime?
“See the Northern Lights in person, spend some time in France to practice French and experience the culture, live in a big city.”
How do you spend your free time?
“I like to play sports, hang out with friends and family, read, and write. I also occasionally binge watch new Netflix originals.”
What inspires you?
“The idea that I can make a difference in the world with my passion for social and legal justice, and the knowledge that my whole family supports and encourages me. I want to make them proud!”
Where do you hope to be in 10 years?
“Hopefully, I have my law degree and have found an occupation where I can practice law in a way that protects social rights and ensures the law is upheld.”
What’s the best advice you’ve been given? Who gave it to you?
“On another FBLA trip, speaker Ben Glenn said “Do what you have to do to keep moving forward.” Also, my mom always tells me that God has everything planned out for me, which helps me when things get tough.”
What are you most proud of accomplishing while you were in high school?
“I’m proud of how I matured and how I learned to put myself out there. I’m also proud of everything I did that led me to getting into the colleges I wanted and securing my future.”
