What are you most proud of accomplishing while you were in high school?
“Every year, my band has had a competition the day of homecoming. Usually there’s a small group of kids who get to attend homecoming, if they can get ready in an hour or so. For me, that’s very unlikely. So this year, as Tri-M President, I came up with BOCO (short for band homecoming). This was a weekend where all the band kids were free and there was no conflict. We were able to throw the dance in our band room, put up decorations, lights, and even some jazz music! We also had an “after-party” at a restaurant on the beach. It was a great turn out!! Everyone had an amazing time and told me how it was one of their best high school dances. I’m so glad I didn't get to miss out on my senior homecoming.”
