Braya - Senior Portrait Photography Session - Pensacola
What’s your name? Do you have a nickname(s)?
“I am Braya Enriquez. I’ve always had very simple nicknames such as B, Brayay, Bray, or Bray-Bray.”
Describe your senior year in three words.
“Getting it together.”
Your favorite college memory?
“I have far too many memories that I’ll forever cherish to pick just one, but I can tell you that the smallest, simplest memories will the ones that I’ll miss.”
What extracurricular activities where you involved in?
“I have been very active in my sorority, Alpha Delta Pi and too many other smaller clubs/organizations/committees/teams to count. Luckily, this isn’t my resume.”
What are your plans for after college?
“I plan to finish to my prerequisites to apply to go to school to be a Physician’s Assistant.”
If you could have one song play every time you entered a room, which song would you choose?
“Rock with You by Michael Jackson. No song makes me happier.”
If you had the opportunity to travel anywhere, where would you go and why?
“I have wanted to go to Italy since I’ve read Eat, Pray, Love! I’d love to experience the food, the art, and the language.”
What are three things you must do in your lifetime?
“I absolutely need to travel more, for one. I also just want to make sure that I embrace life and never let it wear me down despite what may be thrown at me. Otherwise, I want simple things like a dog… and a family.”
How do you spend your free time?
“If I have free time, I really love to read books and be outside at the beach or nature trails/gardens.”
What inspires you?
“I am highly inspired by success stories and motivational speakers. I love hearing about my peers succeeding or how complete strangers have been able to make success out of nearly nothing.”
Finish this sentence: “When I was young, I used to imagine myself as…”
“EVERYTHING! I used to have a very long list of dreams like being a professional basketball player, an inventor, an “animal doctor,” and so much more.”
Where do you hope to be in 10 years?
“Hopefully, I’ll be a certified physician’s assistant and pretty settled down with my family, including a dog, and fairly well traveled.”
What’s the best advice you’ve been given? Who gave it to you?
““We suffer more often in imagination than in reality” which wasn’t given directly to me. I actually heard it in a podcast.”
What are you most proud of accomplishing while you were in college?
“I’m just extremely proud of myself for how many times I’ve done things out of my comfort zone and seen success. I’ve grown so much in the best ways throughout my entire college experience and even in my final semester this continues to be true.”
